The term "culture" is both
unique to a society and universal for the all humankind. Culture has so much
important for me. Firstly, it is a way to know people. Today's world, there are
so many conflicts between the nations. The main reason of these conflicts is
that there is not any understanding and any common shared values. It should
mean so much to both communities and individuals. Let's imagine that there are
two people meeting recently. They are from different cultures. They probably
have some difficulties in their daily lives. For example, in a birthday party,
in Chinese culture opening gift in front of the guests is improper. On the
other hand, in Western culture, the opposite is improper. Secondly, learning a
new culture leads to a people learn new foreign languages. This also means so
much to me because of branch of my study. However, some people may say
that existence of so many cultures is the main reason for the current
misunderstandings between the nations. This may be partially true. Nonetheless,
diversity is like a mosaic, and diversity is a part of humanity. We all know
that we are not the same. Actually, every person is individual. To conclude,
the more we integrated in different cultures the more we have colorful lives.
