REFLECTION TASK 3 (Edited version)

I can doubtlessly say that man of the year should be J.R.R. Tolkien. Although he is not alive, he still deserves this honor. When I consider the conditions to determine the man of the year, I think that that man should be creative, peaceful, and also he should still have impact on us. As a result, Tolkien was the best candidate.  First of all, his books and stories are great. He created very big, magical and fantastic world to his readers. Thanks to his masterpiece The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit, we have priceless characters and earth which is called Middle Earth. Secondly, there are millions of fans over the world. Many people read his books many times without any boredom. After death, only the great men's influence can be maintained and Tolkien has been proving this to the whole world for years. On the other hand, he is very good at language. He created a new language which is called Elvish, and I can doubtlessly  say that I will learn it. He formed a huge background for his books. This shows us that he really loved his job.

If we look at his books, we can see that there is always a conflict between good and bad. That is the most important characteristics of his works. His works are very useful for child development. They include perfect examples of the good and bad. To conclude, humanity owes him so much and making him man of the year is the best way to show our respect to Tolkien.

REFLECTION TASK 2/B (Edited version)

I chose a TV serial "SUITS" for this reflection task. This has been my favourite TV serial since i met it.This is about a firm which is full of lawyers. The firm only hires the best lawyers and they never tolerate failure. In order to maintain your position and get promotion you should be the best, professional and very stable in your statistics. It indicates that business life requires strict professionalism, and there is no mercy. No matter how clever you are or hardworking, unless you are a professional, you cannot maintain your position. In this TV serial, according to my opinion, the scenarist wants to show us that he is agree with these terms. However, he also thinks that you should carry a piece of humanity deep inside of you. Otherwise, these working conditions will inevitably defeat you. You cannot stand for the all obstacles alone. You need some fellows nearby you. One day you will be the one who are defeated and on that day, you must probably seek help. The only ones standing nearby you are  your friends your workmates who are your second family. I totally agree with the scenarists' point of view. To conclude, this characters and serial are a good example for the all people watching it.

REFLECTION TASK 2/A

The term "culture" is both unique to a society and universal for the all humankind. Culture has so much important for me. Firstly, it is a way to know people. Today's world, there are so many conflicts between the nations. The main reason of these conflicts is that there is not any understanding and any common shared values. It should mean so much to both communities and individuals. Let's imagine that there are two people meeting recently. They are from different cultures. They probably have some difficulties in their daily lives. For example, in a birthday party, in Chinese culture opening gift in front of the guests is improper. On the other hand, in Western culture, the opposite is improper. Secondly, learning a new culture leads to a people learn new foreign languages. This also means so much to me because of branch of my study. However, some people may say that existence of so many cultures is the main reason for the current misunderstandings between the nations. This may be partially true. Nonetheless, diversity is like a mosaic, and diversity is a part of humanity. We all know that we are not the same. Actually, every person is individual. To conclude, the more we integrated in different cultures the more we have colorful lives.

Reflection Task 1/B

JUDD  TRUMP-A PROFESSIONAL LIVING WITH HIS EMOTIONS-

Judd Trump is an English professional snooker player. He has several accomplishments in his early ages. He is a wonder child. In 2005, he had a considerable success in youth tournament before he was a professional. After this tournament, Trump beat Mark Selby, who is an experienced and great snooker player, in the final of the China Open. Following this, he played in the final in 2011 World Snooker Championship. In November 2012 Trump won the International Championship and became the world number one when he was at the age of 23. That was an incredible success for a young man. He could maintain this status for 5 weeks. He had many more accomplishments after becoming number one also.

I chose Judd Trump for this task because the deserves fame more than any other snooker player. In recent years, many talented and very successful young, adult, old aged snooker players have passed; however, none of them can be able to have an impact on me apart from Judd Trump. First of all, he is different from others. He is not a typical snooker player. To illustrate, during a match, he makes jokes and he is always so energetic. He is not kind of stressful person. Secondly, he has a so emotional personality. People think that being professional refers cool, experience. However, he is not cool or so much experienced player. In contrast to this people's perception of being professional, he is energetic, sympathetic and emotional person. For example, he intentionally lost a game ,when Trump was about to won, because his rival had an attack of nervous during  match. He intentionally did his shots badly and let his rival win the match. To conclude, Trump's action was unique. He should be famous all over the world and should be an example for humanity.

Animal Care in Zoos

The earliest known zoo was the park of Intelligence in the province of Hunan and it was started by a Chinese ruler about 1150 B.C. Today, zoo facilities are limited and zookepers cannot keep every animal on display year around. In the winter in colder climates, most birds must be brought indoors, but zookeepers cannot always keep each bird on view for the public. Although many visitors are surprised to see that some animals reamain outside all year, penguins, polar bears, and timber wolves are happy outdoors in wintertime. Some animals are always indoors in northern areas; for example, reptiles and small desert animals always have indoor displays. Zookeepers must provide indoor shelters for lage animals such as elephants; how large those shelters must be! Today, zoorlogists understand much more about animal behavior, and zoos are being designed that are similar to the animals' natural habitats. Viewers can closely obsorve animals at animal parks where animals roam free. Zoo kitchens keep a wide variety of foods which are used to prepare meals to meet each animal's nutritional needs. Zoos contribute to wildlife conservation and nurture species that are in danger of becoming extinct.
